Weekends at the Winery FAQ's (and Answers)

General Information
We ask that everyone please keep in mind that we are trying to take care of the needs of up to thousands of people during these weekend events. Our rules are designed to accommodate the greater good of the many, over the wants and needs of the few. As Florida's largest winery our goal is to produce and sell a variety of great wines. We offer music, food, and outdoor activities as a way to invite folks out to enjoy our facility, to try our wines, and to hopefully become a customer for life. We do have a beautiful facility, but it is not a venue for birthday parties, business networking, public engagements, or other organized gatherings. Please don't plan your special event during our special event. We appreciate our customers greatly, and want everyone to be able to come out and enjoy the views and the great wine, so please keep these things in mind, and follow these simple rules.
Here are answers to some of the most asked questions:
Q. Is there a fee for your Weekends at the Winery events?
Not at this time. You can come out and enjoy the music, the views, and take our winery tour and tasting for free. We do offer a variety of food and drink options available for purchace.
Q. Can we plan a birthday party, or other special party during the weekends?
Sorry, but no. Please do not plan your special event, during our special event. In general we do not allow parties or celebrations at the winery at anytime. Again we are not a venue, our business is to produce and sell wine.
Q. Are we allowed to set up signs, decorations, or props for a video?
Sorry, but no. We welcome you to post photos or a video of your special day at our facility to your social media, but be courteous to our other guests and do not make a production out of it. If you would like to use our facility for the production of a video, please contact us at 352-394-8627.
Q. Do you allow photo shoots?
Sorry, but no. Our facility is not for any type of commercial use, or organized activity including photo shoots. Of course our wine customers are welcome to take photos for personal use while they visit and tour our facility.
Q. Can we bring a grill or propane stove?
Absolutely not. For obvious safety reasons we do not allow grills, propane stoves, or any other kind of cooking or warming devices on our property.
Q. What is your pet Policy?
We are pet friendly and welcome you and your pets. You are responsible for your pets behavior while at our facilities, so please keep your pet on a leash and pick up after them. We also ask that you be respectful of our other guests who might not enjoy the company of your pet as much as you do.
Q. Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a specific dress code, but ask that you dress appropriately for a family oriented experience. We reserve the right to determine what is and is not appropriate. It also goes without saying that shirts and shoes are required, and clothing can not display profanity, obscenities, politics, or hate language. There are plenty of places for you to express your views and opinions, this is NOT one of them.
Q. Do you allow guns or other weapons at your events?
Sorry, but no. We do not allow guns or weapons of any kind on property during our festivals and events. This includes those who have the proper concealed carry license.

Active military and law enforcement officers are allowed to bring their licensed weapons. Please be aware that you will be asked by our security staff to produce valid ID that will be validated by the active Sheriff's officer on duty.
Q. Do you allow smoking or vaping at your events?
Smoking and vaping are allowed in the designated smoking area(s) only. There is NO SMOKING or VAPING inside any of the buildings, or outside on the grounds during our festivals and events other than in the designated smoking area(s). Vaping is considered smoking for the purpose of all of our notifications whether signage, web text, print or any other media. When we indicate "no smoking" it includes vaping.
Q. Can we set up a tent, canopy, or umbrella?
Sorry, but no. Tents, canopies, and umbrellas can block the view for others in the crowd, and can also become very dangerous in high winds which we frequently get. The vendors that set up tents and canopies on our property adhere to a strict set of rules when doing so.
Q. Can we reserve tables or seating?
Sorry, but no. We have very limited table space, and the tables are intended for temporary use to eat food purchased during the festivals. No exceptions.
Q. Can we bring our own food to the festival?
Sorry no outside food, beverages or coolers allowed. You may bring new, unopened single serving bottles of water.
Q. Can we bring our own alcohol to the festival?
Absolutely not. This is more than a policy for us, it's a law. We do check all bags and containers upon entry.
Q. Can we purchase bottles of wine inside the wine shop and drink them out on the festival grounds?
Unfortunately no. We limit alcohol consumtion to single serving purchases during our weekend events to better control reponsible drinking.
Q. Can we reserve parking for our car club?
Sorry, but no. Parking is one of our biggest challenges, we just don't have the space to be able to reserve parking under any circumstances.
